The time of the plague has always been a difficult time. For us – people living in the 21st century – so far unimaginable time … We could only read about great pandemics so far in history books. And yet…
From 2020, the virus accompanies us every day. Closed cities, closed spaces, closed houses and apartments. Isolation, alienation, loneliness, but and overpopulation and suppression. Does architecture allow us to survive the difficult times of the pandemic? Do we find ourselves in our apartments? Do these spaces serve us or, on the contrary, would we like to get out of them as soon as possible?
What are our cities like? How do we feel in the streets hiding our faces behind our masks? Where are we going? What do we want? What can architecture offer us in this difficult time? Or maybe its shape depends on us?
Let the paraphrase of the title of one of the most famous books of the 20th century be the motto of the 3rd edition of the Architecture Students Film Festival.

Od 2020 roku wirus towarzyszy nam na co dzień. Zamknięte miasta, zamknięte przestrzenie, zamknięte domy i mieszkania. Izolacja, wyobcowanie, samotność, ale
i przeludnienie oraz stłamszenie. Czy architektura pozwala nam przetrwać trudne czasy pandemii? Czy odnajdujemy się w swoich mieszkaniach? Czy te przestrzenie nam służą, czy też wprost przeciwnie jak najszybciej chcielibyśmy się z nich wyrwać?
Jakie są nasze miasta? Jak czujemy się na ulicach, chowając twarze za maseczkami? Dokąd podążamy? Czego pragniemy? Co architektura może nam w tym trudnym czasie zaofiarować? A może jej kształt zależy od nas samych?
Niech parafraza tytułu jednej z najsłynniejszych książek XX wieku będzie mottem III edycji Festiwalu Filmowego Studentów Architektury.
